D. Booking Information

When you make a booking, purchase a product, or otherwise transact through OREEZA, we may collect information necessary to facilitate bookings, purchases, payments, fulfillment, and customer support, including your name, email address, phone number, booking or order details, traveler preferences, communications with hosts or sellers, shipping information (where applicable), and any other information you choose to provide.

If you provide personal information about other travelers or guests, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to share their information with us and that they understand how their data will be processed.

E. Information from Hosts and Partners

We may receive information about travelers from hosts, community partners, guides, or service providers in connection with bookings, experience delivery, customer support, dispute resolution, or safety-related matters.

F. User-Generated Content

Reviews and Media: If you upload photos, videos, or reviews to the platform, we collect that content and any embedded metadata (such as location tags within photos). This content may be publicly visible to other users of the Services. By submitting reviews, photos, videos, or other content through the Services, you grant OREEZA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and use such content for operating, improving, promoting, and marketing the Services.

Please do not provide sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, or other sensitive data) unless specifically requested and necessary to provide the Services.

A. Sharing Information With Hosts

To facilitate your booking, purchase, or other transaction, we may share relevant information with the host, community, guide, translator, transportation provider, artisan, seller, fulfillment provider, or other service provider involved in delivering the experience, product, or service. This is done only to the extent reasonably necessary to facilitate and provide the offering.

We may also share limited traveler information with hosts and service providers before, during, and after a booking where reasonably necessary to coordinate the experience, provide customer support, address disputes, process refunds, facilitate communications, or comply with legal obligations.

Note: While we require our local hosts and community partners to respect your data, they operate as independent entities, and their handling of information may be subject to their own operational practices and applicable local laws.

Some hosts, communities, or service providers may be located outside your country of residence and may be subject to different privacy, consumer protection, or data protection laws.

B. Payments & Financial Data

Payment information is processed by third-party payment providers. OREEZA does not store complete payment card information. Payment processing is subject to the privacy practices and terms of the applicable payment provider. Currently, payment processing services are provided by Stripe. Your use of Stripe's payment services may also be subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms.

C. Service Providers & Sharing

We may share information with service providers who assist us (for example, hosting, analytics, or email delivery) under contractual safeguards.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity of OREEZA, our users, local communities, or others, or to comply with legal obligations.

D. Business Transfers

If OREEZA is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We use the information we collect to:

Facilitate and secure direct communications between travelers and hosts.

Support the coordination and delivery of community-led experiences and related traveler services.

Send booking confirmations, payment reminders, itinerary updates, cancellation notices, support communications, and other transaction-related messages.

Analyze usage trends to improve platform functionality, search results, recommendations, and the overall user experience.

Verify identities, monitor transactions, assess risk, and help prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, safety incidents, unauthorized activity, or violations of our Terms.

Note on Data Sales: We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. Where required by law, we will obtain explicit consent for optional marketing communications.

Communications between travelers and hosts conducted through the Services may be monitored, stored, or reviewed as reasonably necessary to provide customer support, investigate disputes, maintain platform security, or enforce our Terms.

Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, booking providers, payment processors, social media platforms, or other services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their individual privacy policies.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the Services, improve platform functionality, and measure performance.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how the Services are used, and support security. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, some features may not work optimally if cookies are disabled.

We may use essential cookies necessary for the operation of the Services as well as analytics cookies to understand site usage and improve functionality.

Do Not Track and Opt-Out Signals

Our Services do not currently respond to browser 'Do Not Track' signals because no consistent industry standard exists. However, where required by applicable law, we recognize and honor opt-out preference signals sent via automated technologies like the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

Residents of certain jurisdictions, including California and other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws, may have additional rights regarding their personal information. We will honor such rights as required by applicable law.

OREEZA does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We also do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. Where applicable law provides additional rights regarding the sale, sharing, or use of personal information, we will honor those rights as required.

The Services are intended for individuals who are legally able to make bookings, purchases, or enter into agreements in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by applicable law). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
