About OREEZA
OREEZA supports a more community-led way to travel, connecting travelers directly with local communities.
Today, many cultural experiences are shaped by external systems, where pricing, structure, and storytelling are often defined outside the community. While tourism creates opportunity, it doesn't always translate into meaningful income or autonomy for local families.
OREEZA supports a more direct and community-led approach, where local families have greater control over the experiences they offer, how they are presented, and how they benefit from tourism. This allows travelers to experience culture more meaningfully, not as a performance, but as something shared with care, context, and respect.
We are currently working closely with Misminay, a Quechua Indigenous community in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, Peru. This collaboration is helping shape how OREEZA evolves, step by step.
We're still in the early stages, learning and building alongside the communities we work with.
